MICCOSUKEE COLLECTIBLES SHOW December 2007 Report

Ok, this was our second time in as many months at the Miccosukee Collectibles show. And off the bat, I'll say that sales and attendance were much better this month.

Lots of people came to visit the show as the holiday shopping season was coming to a close. Or maybe it was just getting under way, depending how you look at it. It was the last weekend before Christmas, so I suppose people were out looking for last minute gifts.

I can't believe I took my own photo. Isn't this more of a myspace thing?

Unfortunately, the casino downstairs was also significantly busier than last month, and the cigarette smoke was overwhelming even upstairs in the ballroom (which was non-smoking). Andrew and I don't smoke, so it was extremely difficult for us breathing it for 8 hours.

While we'd love to keep doing the show, the smoke was just too much for us, so until this event moves to a non-smoking venue, we won't be able to exhibit at future shows.

Not to worry, there are still plenty of events for us in 2008! See you soon!
